Construction: Solid GRP Hull with encapsulated lead keel. Deck GRP/Balsa sandwich. Reassuringly strong construction with reinforcing and stringers as appropriate. Stripped and epoxied by Osmotech 1991. Low moisture readings.
Topsides professionally repainted 2002 with Awlgrip 2 part “snow white” - Deck/Coachroof light blue.
Displacement: 7.5 tons. Ballast 3.5 tons.
Rig: Masthead Sloop. Sails; Fully battened Main (2000). No1 Genoa; No2 Genoa. Detachable inner forestay for No1 Jib & Storm Jib. Cruising chute with snuffer. Telescopic Pole. Hood roller furling gear for Genoas.
Deck Gear: Lewmar 44 Self tailers (new 1996) Lewmar 24 Spinnaker winches. Lewmar 8 halyard winches. 3 slab reefs & lazyjacks/sail catcher on main. Full teak grating in cockpit. Teak laid cockpit seats. Wheel steering on stout Gibb A frame. Hydrovane self steering gear. Can steer vessel with its independent rudder. Main rudder extended both in aspect ratio and trailing edge area. This improved steering and downwind stability. Emergency tiller to fit main rudder stock.
Engine: Perkins 4108 M. 4 Cylinder Diesel. 48HP. Hydraulic Drive to 2 blade fixed prop. Fresh water cooled. Fuel 33 Gallons. Auto Fire Ext.
Electrical: 1x120 AH starter battery. 2 domestic batteries 224AH. 45 Amp alternator with Automac regulator bypass for full charge. Siemens Solar panel 12 watt for maintaining charge. Shorepower connection & lead. 240v shaver socket
Water: 61 Gallon tank in keel. Hot & cold pressurized to galley, heads & shower. Sea water manual pump with filter to galley. 240v Immersion heater to calorifier.
Accommodation: 6 berths in two cabins; Saloon: Double to port; single and pilot berth to stbd. Forecabin; two singles with infill for large double. Leecloths to 4 berths with leeboard on pilot berth. Completely reupholstered late 90’s. Extra lumbar cushions installed. Watchkeepers seat and wet locker to port. (best Nic. 35 layout) Good size nav. Table. Large galley with good stowage. S/S cooker. Large fridge.

Liferafts: 6 man
Ground tackle: 35lb CQR bower with 75mtrs calibrated chain. SL Horizon 1500 Electric Windlass. Remote control in cockpit and footswitch at bow. 25lb Kedge anchor.
Heating: Remotron blown hot air central heating to both cabins (similar) to Eberspacher but runs on butane).
Remarks: The vessel has had 4 previous owners and has not had heavy use. After 1975 teak bulkheads were fitted in the 35’s giving a much warmer feel to the saloon and with decent upholstery, makes a big improvement over the earlier ones which tend to look quite dated. The mast height was increased to give a little more canvass. Extending the rudder brought a big improvement.
The vessel has had very little use since 2005.
